Economic Development Authority
Services offered by the LeRoy Economic Development Authority (EDA) include Revolving Loan Funds, Small Cities Funds for commercial and residential rehabilitation projects, and assistance with business plans, marketing strategies and finance packaging.

The mission of the LeRoy Economic Development Authority is to promote sustainable growth and enhance the well-being of our community by fostering partnerships, supporting local businesses, and implementing innovative initiatives that strengthen LeRoy’s economy.

Objectives
The LeRoy Economic Development Authority is committed to:
- Strengthening partnerships between the LeRoy-Ostrander School District, the City Council, and the Economic Development Authority (EDA).
- Expanding housing availability through rehabilitation projects and new single- and multi-family developments.
- Supporting business retention and fostering opportunities for business expansion.
- Enhancing the downtown area through improved signage and beautification efforts.
- Promoting residential beautification to enhance the overall appeal of the community.
- Developing the "Wheels to Go" program as part of future planning.
- Creating an inclusive, welcoming, and charming environment that encourages individuals to invest in, stay in, and contribute to the community’s long-term success.
Community & Business Development Services
The LeRoy EDA contracts with Community and Economic Development Associates (CEDA) for additional community and business development services. CEDA representative Allison Whalen is available in LeRoy on Mondays to assist business owners with questions and projects. Whalen can be contacted through email or by calling her at 507-993-8688.
EDA Board
The EDA Board consists of seven members, including five at-large members and two members representing the LeRoy City Council:

The EDA Board meets on the fourth Monday of each month at the LeRoy Community Center. The meetings are open to the public.
