Highway 56 construction to begin April 29

The Minnesota Department of Transportation has announced that Highway 56 construction will begin on Monday, April 29, one week earlier than expected. The start date was moved up due to changing contractor availability. Road closure signs that currently still reflect a start date of May 6 will be updated, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
